Bind is a very cool performance marketing agency based out of Manchester. “We do so much more than media buying, we want to articulate why we exist” they said. Challenge accepted…
Through a series of workshops, we looked at the beliefs that guide Bind every day, the attributes that shape how they connect with people, and the wider impact they have on the world.
We spoke to their clients too… after all, a brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room.
We learned is that marketing results were a given but what was really important to Bind was growing people. Whether they were getting people running marathons, flexing their public speaking muscles or championing charities, everything came back to this idea.
And so Growth Beyond Metrics was born.
We evolved their logo to make it more confident and cohesive and introduced a new colour palette, new typography, bespoke emojis and illustrations of the whole team.
Next, we turned our attention to capturing the essence of ‘Growth Beyond Metrics’ in Bind’s visual identity, kicking this phase off with a creative workshop and brand audit.

OLD LOGO
The lightning bolt feels slightly disjointed from the logo type. Almost a little floaty and not in unison with the word mark itself and at it gets lost when the logo is used at a smaller scale.
-
NEW LOGO
A new pulse icon with thicker dimensions creates a bolder, more unified logo. The angle of the ‘d’ continues to meet the pulse icon. Inspired by Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam.
A circular dot above the ‘i’ softens the harsh edges of the type and make it feel more friendly whilst a thicker, more rounded font creates a strong and uniform wordmark.
The brief for Bind’s new website was to “create a website that’s not a website” so rather than going down the standard ‘About Us’ and ‘Our Services’ route, we created a 30-second meditation experience designed to give people a moment for growth.
